Impacting Littles: Where Big Stories and Corporate Responsibility Intersect featuring Allison Tharp and Ryan Love

As the 2024 Indy Tech Gives campaign kicks off, OneCause stands proudly at the helm, championing this inspiring initiative for its sixth year. This campaign has become a beacon of hope and unity within Indiana’s flourishing tech sector, bringing together companies to support nonprofits that make a profound difference.

Since its inception in 2019, Indy Tech Gives has raised over $250,000 for local nonprofits, a testament to the collective efforts of over 1,000 dedicated employees from over 20 companies. The campaign’s annual growth is a powerful reminder of the extraordinary impact the Indy Tech community can achieve together. This year, OneCause is honored to support Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), a nonprofit that resonates deeply with the company’s employees. Big Brothers Big Sisters is revolutionizing mentorship, steadfast in its mission to empower all youth to realize their full potential.

It takes little to be big, and the personal stories and experiences many from the OneCause family have with BBBS underscore the importance of this partnership. In a special episode of Raise Nation Radio, Allison Tharp and Ryan Love share their heartfelt journeys with BBBS, illustrating what it means to them to see OneCause supporting the mission through Indy Tech Gives. Their stories highlight how OneCause is impacting “Littles.”

Indy Tech Gives has solidified its place as a cornerstone event within the Indy Tech community, rallying tech professionals to create a positive ripple effect throughout their local community. Through company-wide teams, personal fundraising pages, and a spirit of friendly competition, participants raise funds for social good, coming together in a shared effort to make the world a better place.

Tune in and be inspired by the unique team at OneCause.

Hear from Allison: “My husband and I have gained so much from this experience, maybe more than our “little” has, truthfully. We’ve become more empathetic and patient, learning how to help him navigate his life.”

And Ryan: “How often do I get to just be a kid again and go play laser tag? I don’t really need an excuse, but now I have this great reason to play whenever I want with this guy. And they get to form truly lifelong bonds over it.”

The excitement for this year’s Indy Tech Give is palpable. It’s where big stories and corporate responsibility intersect, making a tangible difference in the lives of young people.
