Giving Tuesday is often described as a global day of giving or a global generosity movement. It’s an initiative that encourages people and organizations to donate their time and funds to charitable causes every year.

Originating in 2012 and growing in popularity year after year, Giving Tuesday inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

The annual event takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. This year, it’s December 3, 2024.

It’s important to engage supporters, share stories, and build an active community around your cause leading up to Giving Tuesday. Be creative with your campaigns. Here are a few examples:
